The Firebird is Keating & Co’s flavour-first take on an extreme hot sauce — made for those who want serious heat without sacrificing taste. A fierce blend of Carolina Reaper, Trinidad Scorpion and bird’s eye chilli, this sauce is intense, punchy and surprisingly balanced.

Goddamn. Had a taste at Finders Keepers market and had to have it. Really great profile, amazing kick, there ain't nothing bland about this. I'm over buying a "hot sauce" and its not even remotely hot. This was perfect. *chefs kiss*

Hot Damn - Brilliant

Spotted these chaps at the Melbourne Good Food and Wine show. Bought the Lankan Lion along side this one.

Firebird is a sneaky sauce - the heat sneaks up on you, allowing you to enjoy its tang and that first hit of flavour, before taking your tongue on a slow burn descent into an inferno.

Extremely pleasing to the tongue, pairs superbly well with some cheese kranskys.

I love spicy stuff even though my tolerance isn't amazing - this sauce destroys me every time. More than anything, the fruity/sour flavour profile is what keeps me coming back, and has basically replaced every other sauce that's otherwise lacking in either heat or flavour.

Word of warning (and to be fair, it says so on the bottle), it needs to be shaken vigorously for the real profile to come into effect.
