A family recipe, bottled. The Lankan Lion is inspired by our mother-in-law’s authentic Sri Lankan curry base — a bold, aromatic sauce built on tomato, cayenne and traditional Sri Lankan spices. It’s rich, vibrant and full of depth, with a strong heat that warms rather than overwhelms.

Authentic As

Saw these chaps at the Melbourne Good Food and Wine Show, saw the Lankan Lion and was immediately drawn to my culture. Gave it a taste, and blam - immediately transported back to the streets of Colombo, my stomping grounds, eating my mum's chicken curry, slurping the last dregs of it from the plate with my finger.

Fantastic, fully flavoured and bold, unrelenting in its northern-Sri Lankan spice mix, easy choice tbh.

Quickest I've ever finished a hot sauce

I'm Sri Lankan and I don't know how they managed to capture the flavour profile of Sri Lankan food so well. Has enough of a kick without overdoing the spice level, so I've basically been eating it with everything. I'm buying some for my family too now!
